Resilient Building Group was built on a simple belief: successful construction requires more than managing a checklist. It requires understanding how decisions made in the office affect the work in the field and how both ultimately affect the owner’s investment.

That perspective comes from founder Isaac Argueta’s experience working across some of the New York metropolitan area’s most demanding construction environments. His career began in utility construction throughout Rockland County, where coordinating crews, materials, budgets, and emergency work demonstrated the importance of preparation and dependable execution. Working in active communities also reinforced a lesson that continues to guide RBG today: every project affects the people and properties around it.

Isaac later brought that experience to the rehabilitation of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. On a project of that scale, progress depended on careful planning, strong communication, and close coordination among field teams, subcontractors, engineers, and public agencies. The work strengthened his ability to anticipate challenges, maintain accountability, and help complex projects move forward safely and efficiently.

At John F. Kennedy International Airport, the environment became even more dynamic. Construction had to advance within one of the country’s busiest transportation hubs, where logistics, security, inspections, procurement, and daily operations were closely connected. Supporting major terminal work at JFK reinforced the value of organized project controls and the need to resolve issues before they affect the larger plan.

Together, these experiences shaped Isaac’s approach to leadership. Rockland County utilities taught responsiveness. The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge taught discipline at scale. JFK Airport taught coordination in an active, high-stakes environment.

Real estate ownership added another dimension. Through acquiring, renovating, and operating rental properties, Isaac experienced construction from the owner’s side of the table—where every delay, change, and budget decision directly affects financing, cash flow, asset performance, and long-term value.

Today, Resilient Building Group brings these perspectives together. Led by Isaac, RBG coordinates experienced contractors, vendors, consultants, and project partners around a shared plan. The company combines the discipline developed on major New York projects with the practical judgment of an owner, creating a team-driven approach centered on clear communication, thoughtful planning, and reliable follow-through.
